Job Overview: Profession: OB/GYN Coverage Basis: Locum Tenens Start Date: End of February/beginning of March Coverage Duration: 5 days per month, ongoing Shifts: 24-hour call for OB and Gyn presentations to the ED for a 5-day stretch. No clinic or office patients. Response Time: Physicians do not need to remain in-house but must be within a 20-minute response time. Setting: Inpatient/outpatient Duties: Full scope OB/GYN FTE: 1.0 Required Procedures: Deliveries (C-section/Vaginal), Gynecological Surgeries EMR: Cerner Support Staff: Dedicated MA, practice manager Reason for Coverage: Permanent provider reducing coverage Additional Details: Types of Cases: Full scope OB/GYN No NICU Patients Per Day: 16-20 Credentialing Information: Timeframe: 60 days Travel Preferences: Preferred Lodging: Preferred hotels Air Travel: Local, preferred but not required Travel Exceptions: Any anticipated travel exceptions should be detailed in the provider presentation.
