- Number of Beds - 34
- Number of Staff – See below
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 1 Charge, 6-7 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 Huc
- Night Shift – 1 Charge, 5-7 RNs, 2 CNAs , 1 Huc
- Patient Ratios – Dayshift 1: 4-6
- Type of equipment – Nightshift 1: 5-7
- EMR - Cerner
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- 2+ years experience
- ACLS, BLS, NIH
- Telemetry rhythm capabilities, critical thinking, time management, able to assess med surg level patients and alert Charge RN / Manager / Rapid Response / Provider when acuity level changes.
- Good communication. On time for work shifts.

- Iv fluids, tube feeds, peg feedings, Iv antibiotics,

- Team player. Nurses should be willing to help CNAs and other nurses
Floating Area(s):
- Other med surg units, occasionally, in the holding Pod of ED
Dress Code:
- Scrub Color/Attire - Navy Blue
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
- Must follow HCA policies. Unit guidelines: Attend huddles at 0650 AM shift or 1850 PM shift. Must clock out and in for Meal breaks. Must clock in no earlier than 0638 or 1838 depending on shift.
Weekends and On call(if any)
- Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts a pay period.
