RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Orthopedic

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: Day shift 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or Night shift 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Rotate through every 3rd weekend (sometimes every other weekend if leave of absence coverage needed)
• Patient ratios of 5-6:1
• Acute care hospital experience on Med/Surg or Telemetry units required
• Kansas nursing license required
• BLS certification required
• NIH certification preferred
• Work with specialized equipment including traction, external fixators, halos, walkers, gait belts, bed alarms, continuous pulse oximetry, and remote telemetry monitoring
• Perform typical procedures including wound care and dressing changes
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Each shift, check out iPhone 7 for mobile heartbeat (iMobile) communication program
• Care for patients with orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions including stroke and head injuries, and traumas
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required
