Job Description:
Compensation : $325000 - $350000 Job ID : 41698
Job Function:
Provide intensivist support for the organization's hospitalist team, caring for admitted patients.
Cover a 27-bed ventilator unit (planned to close) and support ventilator care at partnered SNFs.
Spend two half-days per week in the office seeing pulmonary patients, with the remainder of the week covering ICU and ventilator patients.
Participate in the hospitalist team's call pool, approximately 1:5 to 1:6 weeks.
Collaborate with an NP to support inpatient care and contribute to building a strong specialty program, with the group completing 800 admissions last year.
Pursue additional training in allergy medicine to help expand an allergy practice within the group.
Utilize the MediTab EMR system for documentation and patient management.
Maintain a strong focus on quality care, reviewing weekly quality reports outlining patient services, referrals, wellness measures, and patient feedback.
Job Requirements:
- Fellowship training in pulmonary critical care required.
- Board eligibility/board certification required.
- License in NJ required at start of employment.
