Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse will provide care to adult and geriatric patients in a tele/cardiac unit. The RN is responsible for monitoring patients, interpreting and documenting cardiac rhythms, and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Assess and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Interpret and measure cardiac rhythms regularly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Work effectively within a team and communicate with physicians and other healthcare staff.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the care process.
- MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE
- 3 years of nursing experience, specifically in Cardiac/Tele or Med-Tele units.
- ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA).
- Neuro/stroke experience is highly preferred.
- Current New York state nursing license required.
- Candidates must have their own vehicle and must be reliable.
