Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Texas, requiring night shifts and specialized certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
- Shift is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Responsible for providing comprehensive care to laboring mothers and their newborns
- 50-mile radius rule applies – local candidates not accepted
- References required: one professional reference for candidates in Texas
- Social security number and date of birth required for consideration
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
- Intermediate or advanced AWHONN or NCCEFM fetal monitoring certification required
- Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) 9th Edition required from the American Academy of Pediatrics
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
