The X-Ray Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic imaging procedures independently for diagnostic and treatment purposes at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, primarily on overnight shifts three times per week. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, supporting various hospital units including ICU and emergency rooms, and opportunities for cross-training in MSK and vascular surgery imaging. Candidates must hold an associate degree or higher, be certified as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)), and are welcomed whether new graduates or experienced technologists.

Position Details:
- Overnight Shift: 3 days per week!!! – 6pm – 6:30am
- Pick which days like to work: Mon, Tues, Thurs - or - Mon, Wed, Thurs
- Prepares Patient and equipment for procedures, performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, including time in the OR, portable exams and other tasks assigned by the department
- Provide imaging support to Floor patients, ICU units, and emergency room patients
- General Radiology is moving into new tower with brand new equipment. Cross training into MSK and potentially Vascular Surgery is available
Requirements:
- Associate degree or higher in related field
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R), MR
