Night shift pay $31.95/hr + $0.50 shift diff and union benefits. 2nd-shift Plant Maintenance Technician (nights) at Heidelberg Materials North America. Nights, on-site at aggregate/plant locations; full-time union role with medical, dental, vision, pension, paid leave. Hourly rate $31.95 + $0.50 shift diff; subject to physical, drug/alcohol screen and background check. - High school diploma or GED - Welding experience: horizontal, vertical, overhead, arc - Able to use oxygen/acetylene torches - Willingness to perform varied maintenance (shakers, conveyors) and work outdoors at night - Able to pass pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen and background check

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform assigned maintenance tasks
• Work around the plant each night outside
• Assist in maintenance work
• Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures

What Are We Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Willingness to perform various maintenance duties
• Get into shakers, work on conveyors etc.
• Able to use oxygen/acetylene torches
• Horizontal and Vertical, Overhead, and arc welding experience

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
