WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Cooperstown, NY.
Job Function:
- Night Shift.
- 7pm to 7am.
Provides direct nursing care to adult patients on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
Monitors, interprets, and documents cardiac rhythms; reports abnormalities per unit protocol.
Prepares and administers medications (oral, IV, subcutaneous) and documents all treatments accurately.
Performs comprehensive patient assessments and updates care plans based on patient condition.
Responds quickly to changes in patient status using strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of experience.
- NYS License.
- BLS & ACLS.
