The University of Iowa Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation is seeking a faculty member specializing in Orthopedic Hand Surgery. Appointment rank may be at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level and may align with the clinical (non-tenure), or tenure tracks, depending on clinical experience and academic interests.

This is an exciting time to join the department as it moves to a brand new, state-of-the-art Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in North Liberty- IA- a major initiative focused on growth and market expansion.The Division of Hand Surgery provides comprehensive care for routine, complex and rare upper extremity conditions, with particular expertise in:
- Microsurgery and peripheral nerve surgery
- Hand and wrist reconstruction and replantation
- Tendon and ligament repairs
- Arthroscopy, arthroplpasty, and fusion of the wrist
- Brachial plexus and nerve compression syndromes
- Congenital conditions and trauma reconstruction
