An Orthopedics Nurse Practitioner provides advanced clinical care to orthopedic patients in both ambulatory and inpatient settings, managing approximately 60 office visits weekly. The role involves collaboration within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinic environment, with occasional responsibilities as a First Assist in the operating room. Strong communication skills and flexibility are vital to support patient-centered care and maintain high patient throughput.
Ideal Candidate: PA or NP with orthopedics experience. PA preferred. Ideal candidate is flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment, as this position is primarily covering clinic. However, there are opportunities that will arise for the APP to act as First Assist in the OR as well. Great communication skills and a team player are essential.
Schedule:- Desired Start date: Start August 2025 (we will schedule a year-long assignment but will accept 6 months with option to extend!)
- Potential Schedule:
- Full time, Monday-Friday office/OR hours, plus call
- Split inpatient and ambulatory role, with majority of time being spent in ambulatory/clinic setting.
- Call Schedule: 1:4 call rotation, with first call backed by a physician
- Expected Patient Volume in office per week: 60 patients per week
- Expected Patient Volume in hospital per week: 3-7 patients per week

- Clinic staffing info: 3 surgeons, 3 APPs, 6 MAs, 3 PSRs, 2 Rad Techs, 1 Triage RN
