Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization laboratory with 4 rooms, 1 patient per room
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• On-call responsibilities are frequent and require flexibility to adapt to unit needs
• Must be competent in Special Procedures and GE Innova equipment
• Work with all GE rooms using Meditech and MacLab EMR systems
• Perform cardiac catheterizations, cerebral angiograms, stents, balloons, ENT Lab procedures, and scrubbing
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT
• RCIS certification preferred
• Unit provides surgical scrubs
• Must be a team player with critical thinking skills and patient care focus
• Work with a close-knit team of 22 staff members consisting of RNs and Techs
• Day shift includes 1 Charge RN, Director, and 16 total staff per shift
• Night shift operates with on-call teams of 3 members each, 7 total
• Daily huddle calls and relationship development with Director, staff, and patients is essential
