Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a full-time outpatient orthopedic position requiring prior outpatient experience.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient therapy clinic specializing in general orthopedic cases
• Work schedule consists of 8-hour day shifts
• No floating to other clinics is required
• Typical caseload is 12-14 patients per day with expectation to reach 60 visits per week
• Double-booking of follow-up visits is standard practice
• No on-call requirements
• Responsibilities include managing a general ortho patient population in an outpatient clinic
• Productivity expectation is 60 visits per week
• Expect to work up to 40 hours per week
• Local candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as travelers
• Overtime must be approved by the director before working additional hours

Requirements

• Active PT license required if applicable
• Minimum of relevant outpatient experience required; new graduates will not be considered
• Outpatient experience is preferred
• Will not accept PTA candidates
• First-time travelers will not be considered
