Utilize your expertise in a variety of general orthopaedic procedures. Key Responsibilities: Respond promptly to call requests and provide timely care for orthopaedic emergencies. Perform a variety of procedures, including wrist, ankle, and hip fractures, incision and drainage (I&D), and closed reductions. Collaborate effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain a high standard of patient care and communication. Qualifications: Active medical license in the state of North Carolina (only). Board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required. Clean file with limited affiliations to facilitate expedited credentialing (temporary privileges may be available). Excellent clinical skills and a strong knowledge base in general orthopaedic surgery. NPI number required. About the Role: Schedule: 24-hour call coverage, start date ASAP and end date ongoing.
