What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate emergency response protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible presence.
- Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when necessary, in accordance with site protocols.
- Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential threats or suspicious activity within the financial institution environment.
- Follow all Allied Universal procedures and protocols for armed personnel, including proper handling and storage of firearms.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
