We are hiring a locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide weekend call coverage (1 2 weekends/month, Friday Sunday) - this is strictly beeper call!

Position Details:

• Schedule: 1 2 weekends/month (Friday Sunday)

• Call Type: Beeper call only

• Start Date: 60 days (privileging required)

• Privileging: 60 days from submission of RFA/application

• Location: Texas

Requirements:

• Active Texas license (IMLC not accepted)

• ATLS certification Required

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)

• Clean background No red flags (must pass privileging review)

Required Procedures:

• General CV/CT surgery open (not endoscopic)

• Coronary artery bypass surgery (on-pump and off-pump)

• Aorto-femoral/iliac bypass procedures

• Fem-pop bypass (preferred, not required)

Compensation and perks:

• 24hr flat rate: $2600/W2 and $3000/1099

• Certification reimbursement

• License reimbursement

• Travel and accommodation reimbursement

• $3000 referral bonus
