Ecolab is seeking a Field Technician to join our team in Blue Springs, MS. If you are a passionate technical professional that enjoys interacting with customers and likes to work in an autonomous, hands-on environment, we invite you to apply! 

 

You will be joining a talented team that monitors and maintains a variety of air and water quality systems pertaining to the Field Technician title - paint booth at an automotive manufacturing site. In this position you will provide customers with problem solving support, generating a high level of customer satisfaction. 

 

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

  • Operate, monitor, and trouble-shoot the facility and its processes in accordance with established procedures 

  • Perform testing on lab samples, analyze and record results and data in accordance with company and regulatory requirements 

  • Perform daily process application quality analysis using small intricate parts 

  • Provide routine and special application service support to customers 

  • Execute required chemistry tests 

  • Log and report data 

  • Maintain product inventories 

  • Provide technical support to customers 

  • Troubleshoot and maintain systems as needed 

  • Use a fluke meter to check sensitivity 

  • Operate a test stand verifying air and fluid leaks 

 

Position Details: 

  • Location: Blue Springs, MS 

  • Shift: 2nd shift - Mon - Thursday

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent 

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Immigration Sponsorship not available for this opportunity 

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience working independently in an industrial setting 

  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude 

  • Previous experience in Industrial Wastewater Treatment or Maintenance 

  • Mechanical problem-solving experience (e.g. plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and/or mechanical experience) 

  • Strong customer service skills; proven ability to interface positively and professionally with the customer 

  • Analyze readings and put data in a spreadsheet in a logical manner 

  • Verbal and written communication skills 

  • Previous experience explaining results of data gatherings 

 

Physical Requirements of Position 

  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds chest high 

  • Wearing and using a respirator under certain conditions 

  • Working in a variety of conditions including confined spaces, damp/dusty areas, and extreme temperatures  

  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, climbing  

  • Working indoors and outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $37,800-$56,700. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
