As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this armed role, you will be part of a team that values integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
Carry a firearm and maintain proper certifications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those that may involve medical emergencies or disturbances.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility, including interior areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Assist with the enforcement of facility policies, including visitor management and/or access control procedures.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols for healthcare environments.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of required hospital vaccinations.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
