Job Description & Requirements

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Previous LDRP/PP experience.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: see above
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: LDPR/PP.
• Personality Fit: Patient experience focused, team work oriented and eager to learn.

• Required Education: Certification/Licensure required to work as a L&D nurse in New Mexico.

• Number of Beds: 4 Labor rooms, 4 Post Partum rooms
• Patient Ratios: 2-1:1 LDRP, 3 couplets:1 Post Partum
• EHR: OBIX, Medhost, GUI

• Supervisor: Debra Temple, CNO

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Child bearing aged women and newborns.

• Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed
• Call Requirements: As Needed.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP
• Years of Experience: 1+
• Float Requirements: As Needed.
