  Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Education Preferred: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Experience Preferred: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinicCoworkers can be hired as a Certified Medical Assistant if they are a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.Coworkers must actively maintain their certification, or they will be transitioned to the Medical Assistant title
  • New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy trainingMust have completed all MA CompetenciesComplete Advanced Standard Rooming with overall achievement >= 90% for the last 6 months including:AWV questionnaire and documentationThorough Medication ReconciliationClosing all open care gaps as indicated Encounter Guide (Fall Risk, Depression, Breast Cancer Screening, Colorectal Cancer Screening, and Diabetes Eye Exam)Blood Pressure Recheck for patients with elevated initial blood pressure readingCompletion of Patient Experience Conversation
