DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neurologist to join our team in providing specialized care to patients with neurological disorders in various locations in the state of South Carolina.
Job Description:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, migraines, and dementia.
- Conduct thorough neurological examinations, interpret diagnostic tests (such as EEGs, MRIs, and CT scans), and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Manage patients with chronic neurological conditions, providing ongoing care and support.
- Prescribe medications, recommend therapies, and coordinate care with other specialists.
- Educate patients and their families about neurological disorders and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in neurology through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Valid medical license in South Carolina State
- Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
