Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift position, requiring a VA or compact RN license and recent ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Services department of a hospital setting
• Position is for night shifts, scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Perform patient assessment, triage, and provide emergency care in a fast-paced ER environment
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to deliver quality patient care
• Maintain required documentation and participate in patient safety initiatives

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an RN in Emergency Department setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or approved equivalent certification required for all ER units
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
