Our job summary

Home Instead is hiring part-time and full-time home caregivers to provide companionship, personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting), meal prep, and light housekeeping across multiple local areas with flexible shifts. Pay is $17.50–$18.00/hr with weekly direct deposit, benefits eligibility (medical/dental/vision, 401k match), paid holidays, sick leave accrual, mileage reimbursement, and referral bonuses. Candidates need 6+ months of paid non-family caregiving experience or a relevant certification (CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, RN), three references, basic English literacy, and must complete required compliance/licensing.

Wolf Trap / Vienna / Dunn Loring – weekday morning and afternoon
Gainesville – weekday and weekend; all day
Warrenton / Casanova – weekday and Sunday late morning
Manassas – weekday all day; weekend morning and afternoon
Woodbridge / Montclair – weekday and weekend; all day

What you’ll do as a caregiver

Foster relationships with clients through companionship and compassionate caregiving.
Assist with meal preparation and perform light housekeeping duties.
Provide personal care services, including assistance with grooming, bathing, restroom use, and managing incontinence.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR be a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN
Must have three professional references
Willing and able to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s) to provide consistent care and build strong relationships
Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)
Complete any necessary compliance, license, or registration requirements
