Job DescriptionThe Med/Surg Tele RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry unit. Responsibilities include monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement patient care in collaboration with healthcare providers.
- Monitor and interpret patient telemetry readings and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
- Document patient care and communicate changes in patient status to the nursing team.
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing.
- Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Travel experience in a similar role is acceptable.
