American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with at least two years of spinal cord injury rehabilitation experience for an inpatient night shift position.
Responsibilities- Inpatient rehab unit specializing in spinal cord injury patients
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
- Unit located on the 10th floor with a neuro focus
- 13-week assignment duration
- Manage care for patients with spinal cord injuries as part of a neuro-focused rehab team
- Work in a collaborative environment with other healthcare professionals
- Compliance with hospital testing modules is mandatory
- Candidates with employment gaps of 3 months or more must provide explanations
- Local candidates will not be considered for travel positions
- Active KY or compact RN license with no licensure restrictions or disciplinary actions
- Minimum of 2 years of recent rehab or relevant specialty experience
- Current AHA certifications: BLS and additional certifications as required
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required at time of consideration
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required, may be completed onsite
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
- Fully vaccinated for Flu and COVID-19; no exceptions
