A Board Certified clinical gastroenterologist with leadership experience is sought to lead and direct the Division of Gastroenterology at a community teaching hospital in Connecticut. The role includes overseeing the Digestive Disorders Center and participating in clinical practice within a multispecialty medical group. Independent community teaching hospital is seeking an accomplished Board Certified clinical gastroenterologist with proven leadership ability to join talented, high performing and supportive colleagues in the thriving gastroenterology section of the hospitals rapidly growing integrated multispecialty medical group practice. In addition to an active clinical practice, the position offered includes the leadership role of Chief, Division of Gastroenterology in the hospitals Department of Medicine.
Chief responsibilities include medical direction of the hospital-based Digestive Disorders Center equipped with the latest G.I. endoscopy technology. The ideal candidate for this position must be board certified in Gastroenterology with a minimum of 3 years Gastroenterology experience.
