Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with a current CA license and at least 1 year of experience for a weekday position in multiple care settings.
Responsibilities
- Position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Work three days per week in Quincy, CA and two days per week in Greenville, CA
- Practice in acute, swing bed/skilled nursing, and/or outpatient care settings
- Rehabilitation therapy modalities
- 13-week contract assignment
- Must be able to manage patients with varying diagnoses and personalities
- Timely and accurate report writing and correspondence are required
- Detail oriented, compassionate, and adaptable to new treatment techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task are essential
- RTO (Requested Time Off) is not approved unless specified in the offer
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy required
- Must hold a current and active California Physical Therapy License
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification approved by the AHA is required
- Must have passed the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in acute, swing bed/skilled nursing, and/or outpatient settings
- Must be compliant with all state regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Must be proficient in computer and software use for documentation
