Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Patrol Shift in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help create a secure environment, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our core values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols specific to healthcare environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect people and property within the healthcare location.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and incident response.
• Interact professionally with staff, patients, and visitors to support a welcoming and secure environment.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements for armed security-related posts.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
