Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct sick call evaluations and patient rounding
- Manage chronic and preventative care procedures and follow-ups
- Lead preventative care clinics
- Perform infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases as needed
- Provide trauma triage services
- Complete accurate and timely charting notes
- Handle medication refills and monitor patient medication compliance
- Participate in morning PA/NP lines for tasks such as suture removal and follow-ups
Additional Information
- Pennsylvania Physician Assistant license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Correctional healthcare experience is a plus
- Familiarity with EMR systems (Other)
