Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York, and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University is seeking a General Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join our staff.

Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated healthcare system providing care and service to people in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established group of 8 Physicians, 9 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC), and 9 Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM)
• Collegial working environment with group employed model
• Gynecology
• Minimal invasive GYN surgical skills a must (vaginal, laparoscopic, or robotic)
• General Gynecology clinic
• Advanced hysteroscopy and laparoscopic surgeries available, including DaVinci robot
• UroGyn and GynOnc services are available
• Regional travel to our outreach clinics only 1-2 days/week
• Obstetrics
• 1-2(12hr) inpatient call shifts per month to maintain obstetrical skills.
• We have an established OB Hospitalist group providing regular Inpatient coverage along with 24-hr Midwifery coverage.
• Integrated EPIC Electronic Health Record; Medical and Rural Surgery residency programs
• Medical school campus for Columbia University, with an academic appointment available
• Salary Range: $325,000 - $400,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.

• BE/BC
• New York State Licensure
• BLS Certification Required
• DEA Required
