Registered Nurse-GIG-ICU/IMC

Flexible GIG ICU shifts with full benefits and tuition support. Registered Nurse (ICU/IMC) — GIG per diem/contract shifts in Ardmore, OK; day/evening/night availability; immediate start; must work on-site in hospital critical care/IMC setting. - RN license (state or compact) required - ≥1 year clinical nursing experience - Current BLS; ACLS required for Critical Care; PALS for ED roles - Ability to lift 50 lbs, prolonged standing/walking

Find your calling at Mercy!Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.Position Details:

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate‘s Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Experience: 1 year of experience
Certifications: Life support certification current upon hire and in alignment with Mercy policy no later than 90 days after hire.
For Med Surg (MS) and Women‘s and Children‘s (WC) - BLS
For Critical Care (CC) - BLS, ACLS
For ED - BLS, ACLS, PALS

Physical requirements/demands:
- Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
