Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in Ohio, requiring a compact or OH RN license and 2 years of MS/Tele experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- Night shifts scheduled as 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Cares for a patient ratio of 1:4
- Uses Epic EMR with prior experience required
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
- Primary responsibilities include IV starts, administering medications, patient monitoring, conducting lab work, and providing patient education
- Role requires prompt completion of Ohio fingerprinting process for credentialing
- Former employees eligible if separated from the facility for at least six months; current employees of any Ohio State University hospital are not eligible
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application

Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license in hand
- Two years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
- BLS and IV certification required
- Proficiency in IV starts, patient monitoring, lab collection, medication administration, and patient education
- Epic EMR experience required
- Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
- Two professional references required, including at least one from a supervisor or manager
