Massachusetts - Cardiology

• Client is recruiting a Board-certified or Board-eligible, fellowship-trained non-interventional cardiologist to join its established Cardiology Division, seeing both outpatients and inpatient consults.

• The busy outpatient practice serves a large patient base and offers extensive testing, including 3-D echocardiography, nuclear stress testing, cardiac CT, and Holter monitoring.

• The successful candidate would also see hospital consults in the CCU, on the floors, and in the Emergency Department and should be qualified to interpret EKG, Holter, echocardiograms, and cardiac stress tests.

• Both Hospitals offer EKG, echocardiography, Holter monitoring, nuclear stress testing, ICUs, and cardiac telemetry. Both hospitals offer cardiac catheterization and coronary interventions, and one offers electrophysiology, open heart surgery, and structural interventions. Each hospital team includes a cardiac nurse practitioner.

• Inpatient duties may require placement of temporary pacing wires, management of CHF, dysrhythmias, acute myocardial infarctions, and acutely-ill cardiac patients.

• The salary is competitive and commensurate with training and experience. Physicians are eligible for corporate bonuses and partnership. Of course, moving expenses, health insurance, vacation, CME expenses, and a 401K are included

• Located 20 minutes from Providence, RI, an hour from Boston, and a half-hour from Cape Cod and Newport, RI. The area is situated near cities, beaches, farms, suburbia, and virtually any type of living environment.
