Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position requiring a KS or compact RN license and ONC certification for oncology nursing.

Responsibilities

• Work on the 8T Oncology and General Surgery unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes both oncology and general surgery cases
• Night shift position with hours from 7PM to 7AM
• 13-week travel contract assignment
• Candidates provide nursing care for patients with oncology and general surgical needs
• Standard hospital dress code applies
• RNs are expected to manage a variety of conditions within the Med/Surg and Oncology scopes
• First-time travelers will be considered for this opportunity

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• A minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg or Oncology nursing is required
• AHA or ARC BLS certification required, with no certification expiring within the first 30 days of the contract
• ONC (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification required for oncology RNs
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
