Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology and possess strong clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of digestive disorders. This role involves performing endoscopic procedures, managing patient care, and working collaboratively with a team of medical professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the gastrointestinal tract, including GERD, IBS, IBD, liver diseases, and more.
- Perform upper and lower endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and EGDs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Provide pre- and post-procedure consultations to ensure optimal patient care.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare providers to coordinate patient treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology and participate in continuing medical education.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Valid state medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Proficiency in performing endoscopic procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care.
