Trauma & Acute Care Surgeon role; permanent, full-time; 24-hour in-house coverage; based at Level I Trauma Center in Georgia ~1 hour from Atlanta; integrated TACS service with 6 double-boarded surgeons, 4 ortho traumatologists, 12 APPs; 16-bed surgical/trauma ICU and 32-bed TACS unit; high-volume ED (170k visits) and 3,100+ annual cases. - BC/BE General Surgery (ABMS)

Recruiting a Trauma & Acute Care Surgeon, to join a growing Trauma & Acute Care Surgery (TACS) service line
Join 6 double-boarded trauma/acute-care surgeons and 4 orthopedic traumatologists.
24-hour in-house 12 APP coverage model.
16-bed surgical/trauma ICU with daily multi-disciplinary rounds.
32-bed dedicated unit for all TACS service line patients.
Over 170,000 ED visits annually. 119,000 at Gainesville
Acute Care Surgery case volume is 3100+ annually.
ACGME accredited General Surgery Residency program.
Requirements: BC/BE in General Surgery (ABMS). BC/BE in Surgical Critical Care (ABMS). ATLS certification.
