Emergency Medicine PA, PA, Locums

Duration: 6+ months
Shifts: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
Outpatient
The provider must be board certified (BC/NCCPA/NP Boards) with at least 12 months of urgent care experience treating both adults and pediatrics. Required certifications include BLS, NC DEA, and appropriate board certification (PA Cert or Family NP Cert). The provider must have proficiency with Epic EMR, be able to perform minor procedures such as I&D and laceration repair, and possess strong soft skills for one-on-one patient and staff interactions. New graduates are not accepted, and the provider must pass a clinical screening interview and complete mandatory EMR training and onboarding on set Wednesdays before starting.

This is an urgent care position requiring the provider to work as the sole provider treating both adult and pediatric patients aged 6 months and older. The provider will handle high volume patient care averaging 40 patients per day, performing minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, and ear irrigation. Support staff includes a Center Manager, Medical Assistant, and Patient Service Associate, with an offsite supervising physician available for APPs. The provider must use Epic EMR for all visits and complete mandatory training and onboarding on set Wednesdays prior to starting solo shifts.
