We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position near Houston, TX. Shift Schedule:

  • 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM

  • 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • Potential additional shift to be added
• Call Requirements: No call involved

Procedures and Responsibilities:

• Required Procedures: All ED-relevant procedures
• Support Staff: Robust support team including nurses, advanced practitioners, and specialists on-call
• Physicians on Staff per Shift: 2

Facility Features:

• Trauma Center: Level 2, handling a wide range of emergency cases with high acuity
• Comprehensive Stroke Center: Yes
• Pediatric Emergency Department: Separate and dedicated
• On-Site OB with OB ED: Yes

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior experience in a high-acuity ER setting preferred
• Certifications: Board certification in Emergency Medicine required
• Licensing: Must hold a current Texas medical license
