Assignment Details- Coverage Dates: January 1, 2026 - March 1, 2026
- Coverage Type: Call only
- Practice Setting: Inpatient cardiothoracic service
- Call Type: Beeper; 30-minute response time
- Call Volume: To be determined
- Patient Mix: Assigned and unassigned patients
- Duties: Full cardiothoracic call including CABG, aortic/mitral/tricuspid valve surgery, and related perioperative management
- Admissions: Required
- Hospital Privileges: Not required
- Temp Privileges: Available
- Facility Will Accept Multiple Providers: Yes
- EMR: Cerner
- Trauma Level: Not designated
- Stroke Certification: Yes
Clinical Details- Adult cardiothoracic surgical coverage
- CABG, aortic/mitral/tricuspid valve procedures
- General and vascular surgery skills preferred across multiple subspecialties
- Laparoscopic and endoscopic capability preferred
- Chest tubes, central lines, ventilation management preferred
- Support staff includes RN support and surgical office staff
- Beds in Department: To be determined
- Typical clinical workflow determined by call demand and surgical caseload
Requirements- Board Certification Required
- License: AZ license only
- Certifications: ACLS required
- Credentialing Timeline: 60 days
- Clean professional history preferred
- Advanced procedural background strongly preferred due to acuity
- Supervision of APPs required
- Admissions and inpatient management required
