Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a Critical Care Float position in Massachusetts requiring a MA RN license and at least 2 years of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Critical Care Float pool within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 18:45 to 7:15
• Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Patient population includes various ICU-level cases
• EPIC EMR experience is preferred
• Must float between different critical care units as assigned
• Any call outs must be made up at the end of the assignment
• A minimum of 2 professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Holiday coverage required for every other holiday
• Candidates must reside at least 200 miles from the facility to qualify
• Scrub requirements not specified

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous ICU nursing experience required
• Must pass an EKG test
• Cannot have any prior disciplinary actions on nursing license
