Position Overview

The Operating Room RN provides perioperative nursing care for a wide range of surgical procedures at Lovelace Women's Hospital. This role requires strong circulating and/or scrub experience across multiple specialties, strict adherence to sterile technique, and collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams. The unit supports a fast-paced surgical environment with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Epic is used for documentation.

Requirements

Licensure:

• Active NM RN License or Compact License – Required (Must be in hand at submission)

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room experience – Required

• Previous travel experience – Preferred

Patient Ratio Experience:

• 1:1 – Required

Travel Experience:

• Travel experience required

Teaching Hospital Experience:

• Not required

Local Radius Rule:

• Locals within 50 miles – Not Accepted

Certifications

• BLS (AHA) – Required
