Position Highlights

• Work Setting: Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
• Call:
Call currently minimal, may be reinstated in 2026
Historically ~18-19 call days per 8 weeks
2-3 weekends per 8-week period (as needed)
• Floating: Yes - may float to outpatient cath lab
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Daily Volume: 3-5 cases/day
• Facility: Teaching hospital | Level I Trauma Center | 268 beds
• Scrubs: Provided by Cath Lab
• Parking: Free

• Diagnostic & Interventional Caths
• PCI / PTCA / Stent placement
• Left & Right Heart Caths
• STEMI / NSTEMI response
• Thrombectomy (REQUIRED)
• Balloon angioplasty
• EP procedures (Preferred)
• Pacemakers / Defibrillators (Preferred)
• Structural heart (Preferred)
• Coil embolization & Rotablader (Preferred)
• Hemodynamic monitoring (MacLab preferred)
• Scrubbing & sterile technique
• 12-lead EKG
