Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Room RN with a KY or compact RN license and a strong background in large hospital ER settings.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a 23-bed Emergency Room within a hospital setting
• Requires work on a 36/48 hour bi-weekly rotation, with shifts from 13:00 to 01:00
• Candidates must not be local and must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Bi-weekly orientation provided unless otherwise noted
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred
• Assignment is not open to local candidates within a 100-mile radius
• Travel pairs are not permitted unless approved for specified unit needs

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of current Emergency Room and large hospital experience
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), NIH Stroke Scale, TNCC, PALS, and CPI Blue Card
• Reliable transportation is necessary due to limited ride sharing options in the area
