The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner provides full-time outpatient cardiology care including follow-up, annual, and acute visits in a clinic-based setting with no inpatient or weekend duties. The role involves managing patient visits, interpreting diagnostic tests, and handling inbox management for absent providers using EPIC EMR. This position requires a Washington State license, DEA and NPI, outpatient cardiology experience, and proficiency in cardiology diagnostics within a collaborative healthcare team.
ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA) to provide full-time outpatient cardiology coverage on a locum tenens basis. This role is strictly clinic-based with no inpatient work, procedures, call, or weekends. The provider will focus on follow-up visits, annual cardiology care, acute outpatient visits, and inbox management for absent providers.
Dates / ScheduleStart Date: As soon as credentialed (up to 90 days)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm
Assignment Length: 6 9 months
FTE: 1.0
- Setting: Outpatient clinic only
Provide outpatient cardiology care to established patients, including follow-up, annual, and acute visits.
No inpatient responsibilities, hospital rounding, procedures, call, or weekend coverage.
Manage approximately 16 patient visits per day.
Conduct inbox management and coverage for providers who are out of office.
Utilize EPIC EMR for all documentation.
Work within a collaborative, team-based clinic supported by MAs, RNs, and front office staff.
Independently assess and manage complex cardiology patients.
Interpret cardiology imaging and diagnostic tests.
Position is a backfill for a departing APP.
WA State License (required)
DEA and NPI (required)
Clean malpractice history (highly preferred)
Outpatient cardiology experience (deal breaker)
EPIC proficiency (deal breaker)
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently within a team-based model.
Proficiency in interpreting cardiology diagnostic studies.
