Job Summary:
Methodist Healthcare System is recruiting skilled and dedicated emergency medicine physicians to join our collegial team at Methodist ER Legacy Trails in San Antonio, Texas.Qualified Candidates:- Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency-trained
- Possess strong communication skills
- Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills
Incentive/Position Details:- 24 hours of physician coverage
- Physician shift times: 6a-6p, 6p-6a
- 12 hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverage
- 1099 position - up to 120 hours available
- Meditech EMR
Methodist ER Legacy Trails and Methodist Healthcare System:- Full-service radiology, laboratory, and telemetry
- Benefits of immediate intervention for serious emergencies where treatment time is critical
- 24-hour monitoring and testing of patients, such as chest pain cases
- Stabilize critical patients and transport, should they need hospitalization, to a Methodist hospital in San Antonio
