Job Details:
• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts with every weekend required
• Must have 18 months minimum experience in NICU or PICU
• Trauma Level I experience in children's hospital within the last year required
• Must have Labor & Delivery experience as primary placement will be in L&D
• Float to PICU, NICU, and Pediatrics units as needed, may also float to affiliate hospitals
• Home unit assignment (NICU, PICU, or Peds) determined upon arrival but subject to change based on facility needs
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC-RRT, NRP (for L&D placement), Indiana State License
• PALS preferred certification
• Must have experience with ventilators including Servo I, Servo U, Hamilton G5
• Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
• Provide respiratory care for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients
• Skills include aerosol therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, nitric oxide therapy, mechanical ventilation weaning, and tracheostomy care
• Complete 8-16 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• First time travelers accepted
