Hospitalists to provide additional coverage in
Georgia (three locations, all in Central GA). These are
ongoing locums assignments, so
scheduling will be flexible, and clinicians can select shifts that work around his/her schedule:
HOSPITALIST - GEORGIA (THREE LOCATIONS)CENTRAL GEORGIA
- 104 Bed facility / 21 Bed (8 CVICU) Semi-closed ICU
- Will round in ICU- orders come from Intensivists
- Day team: 4 / Night team: 1
- No APPs
- Average Patient Census days: 79 / 7 admits nights: 8 admit
- Admit form ER and Transfer Center
- No procedures
- No codes
- Will be on RRT
- Meditech- EMR
- Teaching facility responsibilities will be determined but required
- IM and FM accepted
- New grads accepted
- Specialty back up: Cardiology / Pulmonary / Nephrology / Endocrine / Rheumatology
- Closet airport- Atlanta International
- Credentialing timeframe TBD
- Temps TBD
CENTRAL GEORGIA- 52 Bed facility / 8 Bed ICU (open)
- Day team: 2 / 1 APP / Night team: 1
- APP will see patients and write notes for supervising, supervising must go behind APP and see patient as well. Day APP is mostly responsible for seeing ortho consults
- Average Patient Census days: 33 / 4 admits nights: 2 admit
- Admit form ER and Transfer Center
- No procedures
- No codes
- Will be on RRT
- Meditech- EMR
- No teaching requirements
- IM and FM accepted
- New grads accepted
- Specialty back up: Ortho / Surgical
- Closet airport- Atlanta International
- Credentialing timeframe TBD

CENTRAL GEORGIA
- 95 bed facility (additional beds to come)
- 16 ICU- open
- Day team: 4 / 1 APP day Night team: 1
- Average Patient Census days: TBD / 13 admits nights: 7 admit
- No procedures
- Respond to codes
- Will be on RRT
- No teaching requirements
- IM and FM accepted / Day APPs
- New grads accepted but must be interviewed for acceptance
- Specialty back up: Cardiology / Surgery / Urology / Nephrology
- Closet airport- Atlanta International / Savannah / Augusta all 2hrs away
- Credentialing timeframe TBD
- Temps TBD
