A hospital is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for an ongoing Locum Tenens assignment in an outpatient primary care setting, starting early 2026.

Assignment Details

• Specialty: Family Practice / Primary Care
• Start Date: January/February 2026 (Ongoing)
• Reason for Coverage: Provider Departure / Recruitment Gap
• Engagement Type: Locum Tenens or Locum-to-Perm
• Documentation System/EMR:Cerner
• Trauma Level: Level II

• Schedule: Monday Friday (specific days TBD)
• Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Call/Inpatient:No call, no inpatient responsibilities, no ED backup.

• Certification:Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Family Medicine REQUIRED .
• License:New Jersey (NJ) license is REQUIRED . Active NJ license is PREFERRED at the time of submission (facility will accept providers needing to obtain license prior to start).
• Life Support:BLS Certification REQUIRED .
• Experience:
• Experience in Adult Outpatient Care REQUIRED .
• Proficiency in EKG Interpretation REQUIRED .
• Experience in a Primary Care / Outpatient Clinic Setting PREFERRED .
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience Performing Disability Exams (Occupational Medicine) PREFERRED .
• Experience with Cerner EMR PREFERRED .
