Adelphi is seeking a Primary Care Physician to provide care to students at a residential training facility in Greenville, Kentucky (KY). The physician will be responsible for providing direct medical care to students in the facility, as well as overseeing the development and management of a comprehensive health and wellness program. The ideal candidate will have a valid, unrestricted Kentucky medical license.

Responsibilities:
• Providing direct medical services, such as medical examinations, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses/injuries, and arranging preventive immunizations.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring the facility 's health and wellness program.
• Arrangements for preventive immunizations and detection and control of communicable diseases.
• Provide referrals for specialist and institutional care as needed.
• Consulting on medical and health-related matters, including staffing, medical separations, and budget management.
• Advising the facility director and health services staff on all medical and health related matters.
• Oversee ordering, safeguarding, and accounting of health equipment, supplies, and medications.
• Consulting with facility staff on ordering, accounting for, and safeguarding health equipment, supplies, and medications.
• Provide training and support to health education instructors on on the implementation of the health and wellness program.
• Prioritize health needs and guide the program by collaborating with facility staff to review policies, manage expenditures, and ensure budget compliance.
• Ensuring compliance with facility policies and federal regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by the facility's administration.
