Position: Board-Certified OBGYN - Locum Tenens

Location: Eastern North Carolina

Start Date: As soon as credentialed - 30-60 days - ongoing need during permanent recruitment-

Seeking a Board-Certified OBGYN to provide hospital call coverage for their well-established practice in Eastern North Carolina.

This opportunity offers flexible weekend call coverage, strong support systems, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit community setting.

• Coverage Schedule:
  • 2 weekends/month - Friday 8:00 AM through Monday 8:00 AM
  • Coverage needed through December 31, 2025
• Scope of Work:
  • 100% inpatient clinical care
  • Vaginal and Cesarean deliveries
  • Respond to hospital within 20 minutes
  • Delivery Volume: 28-34 per month
  • No ICU or code responsibilities
• Facility:
  • 25-bed community hospital
  • 7-bed Low Volume ED
  • Epic EMR
  • On-site Air and Ground Support for transfers

• Must Haves for Initial Submission:
  • Current Board Certification in OB/GYN
  • CV in month/year format, listing all work locations (not staffing companies)
  • Explanations for any CV gaps
  • Current NRP Certification
• If Assignment Exceeds 6 Months:
  • ALSO Certification
  • Completion of AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course (within last 2 years)
